The East End Arts Council and the Town of Riverhead announce the opening of the fourth show at the exhibition space at the Riverhead Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead. The Town Hall will display the artwork of East Ends Art Council member artists. Under the guidance of the EEAC, exhibits will rotate on a quarterly basis.

The fourth Town Hall show will feature the work of Howard Levine, a North Fork artist who sculpts in marble, wood and clay. The show, which runs from December 1-March 1, will feature Mr. Levine’s artwork in sculpture, reliefs and photos.

Howard Levine started working in a studio-loft in New York City in the 1960’s. After studying at the Art Students League and Pratt Institute, he graduated with a Masters degree from C.W. Post. Mr. Levine taught in Smithtown and Westhampton Beach for many years, and also at the BOCES Institute for Gifted and Talented, before retiring in 2002.

He currently works out of his studio on the North Fork where interested parties may visit by calling 722-8084 for an appointment. Mr. Levine accepts commissions for memorials, portraits and site-specific sculpture.
